Video of Paradigm Filler/Crowner with 6 valves and optional rotary infeed and outfeed table.
Paradigm Filler with 2 valves and 1 crowner
Paradigm Filler-- Glass, PET -- Carbonated or Non-Carbonated
Fully Automatic filling/closing solution (Auto Crown feeding/sorting is now standard)
Stainless Steel and other food-grade materials
Able to fill plastic (PET) bottles
Optional capping module replaces the crowner module and allows you to do PET bottles for locations that don't allow glass bottles!
PLC Controlled with user-adjustable times for various container and product requirements
Memory selection stores multiple container size timer variables in memory for quick recall
Inert-gas leveling and double pre-evacuation ability are standard
Base model starts with 2 valves and 1 crowner. Can be expanded to a total of 6 valves!
Optional High Flow Valve system let's machine operate up to 6 bottles per minute (12 bpm for 2 valve machine), per valve.
While our larger Evolution Filler/Crowner is designed to handle many different types of containers and sizes up to 12 valves, we realize that not everyone wants to pay for flexibility they'll never use. Therefore, the Paradigm is the answer. Based on the proven design of our Tabletop Filler, and our larger automated Evolution Filler/Crowner, the Paradigm is a blend of both, without a bunch of wasted space that a typical brewery won't need.
The Paradigm is a 2-6 valve in-line counter-pressure filler/crowner, with the same feed method as the Evolution. Bottles come in on a moving conveyor, feed into the filling area, get filled, feed out to the crowner (while a new set of bottles enters the filling area), then the bottles are crowned and sent out the outfeed conveyor. The cycle is ongoing for as long as you continue to supply a line of bottles. This filler does not require hand-loading of the bottles to and from the filling heads and then crowning heads. The conveyors and pushers take care of that. You just need to keep a line of bottles on the conveyor to feed it, a supply of beer/soda/etc, and good supply of CO2. This is accomplished either by hand (with a case platform to dump on), or by adding an optional powered infeed table.
It offers the ability to do 12oz bottles, all the way to 750 mL. It starts with 2 valves and 1 crowner, and can be expanded as your needs grow. Add a 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th at anytime and speeds will increase by up to 4 bottles per minute per additional valve for 12 oz. The base model with 2 valves goes up to 8 bottles per minute. An Optional High-Flow valve system can be ordered at the time of the initial build, which makes the valves operate at up to 6 bottles per minute, per valve (meaning the base model will be capable of up to 12 bottles per minute for 12oz).
It has double pre-evacuation (vacuum pump required), the only method for achieving extremely low airs and great shelf life. The Paradigm also has inert gas leveling for precise fill height, a further measure which aids in insuring low airs by precisely controlling the headspace. This also guarantees your bottles will be legal and have a professional shelf appearance. The Paradigm is very flexible and is capable of filling a range of bottle sizes.
The configuration of the Paradigm is based on the Evolution's proven feed method. Containers feed in on a conveyor at the front of the filler where they are counted as they enter. When the proper amount have entered the infeed area, the containers are pushed across, onto the filling table where the fill valves descend upon them for filling. When they are filled a new set of containers is indexed across which pushes the already filled ones onto a second conveyor where they automatically feed out to the closing area. Here the bottles are indexed into the closing area where they receive their caps, crowns or lids. Because of the quick indexing of this arrangement these fillers are as fast as an equivalent rotary while being much simpler in design and much more flexible and much less expensive. Function times can be electronically adjusted by an operator panel, and valves can be added when production increases require it.
The Paradigm is controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller and includes an operator interface which allows the operator to adjust operating times, such as, vacuum, CO2, fill, push back, snift and more (this cannot be done on a rotary filler because times are controlled by a combination of fixed cams and rotation speed). The filler is built primarily of stainless steel and other food grade materials and is wash down capable. A CIP mode is built into the program for proper internal cleaning.
The Paradigm, like all of the PPM fillers is very competitively priced even when compared to most imports of far lesser quality and capability.
