The "Bottling Buddy" is a union between our standard
Tabletop Filler and our very popular Paradigm filler/crowner. The
Bottling Buddy is basically an automatic machine that has a slightly larger
footprint than our tabletop filler. It provides the small or medium sized brewery with a
semi-auto or automatic filling machine. Where a tabletop unit requires
hand loading the filling valves and then removing them and hand loading the
crowner, the Bottling Buddy takes care of the burden automatically.
You just load the filling side by hand or automatically with our rotary infeed table, and it'll fill, index the bottles to the
crowner (optional), and crown each bottle automatically. It sits on it's own stainless steel frame and optional
stainless locking
wheels can be mounted so it can be moved around where it's needed. In the base model, the
unit is hand loaded with bottles. From there, the bottles are filled and
(optionally) crowned automatically. The user just has to feed in bottles each time
it's done. Filled/crowned bottles are ejected to the side of the machine. The optional crowner provides automatic crown
sorting and feeding, and holds several hundred crowns in its bowl. Double
pre-evacuation is also standard (vacuum pump required) as is Inert-Gas leveling
for precise fill heights. The Buddy uses the same proven filling valve
that's been available for years on our Tabletop, Paradigm and Evolution filling
units. Individual operating times such as, pre-evacuation, CO2
counter-pressure, fill, inert gas leveling, snift and even pauses are adjustable by the operator. The
Buddy
also has an impressive array of options available such as expandability, as well as the ability to do
multiple bottle sizes on the same machine. A liquid ring vacuum pump and receiver tank are available
if you do not already have one, which is used to provide the vacuum for the
double-evacuation.
The Machine
The base unit comes with 1 valve and no crowner, but up to
3 more valves and an automatic crowner can be added later on for increased production & automation. The Bottling Buddy Filler is a great machine for
the first time bottler. It's inexpensive to own and operate. It will
package with quality and consistency. Its heavy duty, primarily stainless steel
construction will last for many years. It's one of the best buys on the
market today offering extreme product quality with the ease of semi-auto (or
full automatic) operation!
Although slower than the Paradigm in bottles per minute (because of the way
bottles are moved around, compared to the Paradigm), it offers a less expensive entry into automated filling & crowning.
